Dr. Merrill Asks some important questions of interest to New York residents - Chiropractor New York Dr. Merrill Asks...

How does headache medication find the headache?
It can't! Chiropractors know that when you ingest a drug and it enters your bloodstream it numbs or deadens your entire body. Chiropractic adjustments, on the other hand, are specific, targeted and delivered with precision.
Are aches and pains good or bad?
While aches or pains may be unpleasant, they're merely warning signs. As a New York chiropractor, I see this all the time. The pain is not the problem! It just means a limitation has been reached and something needs to change. That's when we get to work correcting the underlying cause.

New York area chiropractic patients appreciate we explain things first.

Follow Up Visits to Our New York Practice

We encourage your 2nd visit to be within a 2-3 days from your 1st visit.  This will help to assess any immediate changes and any initial response to the adjustment.  In addition, based on our findings and your goals, recommendations for an appropriate care plan will be given to you.

After the investment of time needed on the first and second visits, many patients become concerned that every visit will be of equal length.

Avoid relapse with regular visits

A typical office visit may require just 10-15 minutes.  But don't think the brevity of a regular visit reduces its value!  The power of the adjustments will be revealed to you(in addition to the beauty of how "efficient" and simple the adjustments can be).

Like a regular workout at a gym, each visit builds on the ones before.  We recognize your time is valuable. So, we do everything possible to run on time and minimize your wait.
